Leaving Doha, Qatar

I am getting excited to return to Philipines. I only need to wait for two (2) months and at last..Philippines here I come!! For the past two years, I have adopted the life style and culture in a arabic country. You can find different nationalities in Doha, ranging from indians, nepalese, pakistanis, amercans, british, egyptian and etc.. I have learned different basic languages and most of all different cultures. I find it no problem at all dealing with the different nationalities as long as there is mutual respect of the religion and color of the skin of each other.

It is sad to say that our company is feeling the blow of the global crisis which result to decreasing the company cost, which includes reduction of manpower. Luckily or (maybe unfortunate) I was not included in the retrenched kabayans but I opted not to renew my visa considering the company's situation. For me, it is better to be home with my wife( I am newly married w/o kids pa) and plan for my next step rather than to risk my career without assurance. And of course I miss my wife very much!!

Still life will not stop right over here. On the positive note..This will enable me to know what are the things to consider finding a job, especially abroad...Right now, no concrete plan yet..what I want right now is to go home and kiss my wife!!
